Your Rights and Responsibilities

As a client of Pact, you have the right:

  • to be listened to;
  • to be provided with information;
  • to receive a simple explanation;
  • to make decisions;
  • to access interpreter support services;
  • to confidentiality; and
  • to have access to information Pact collects about you.

You have a responsibility to Pact:

  • to treat Pact staff and other service users with respect;
  • to accept responsibility for decisions and actions;
  • to work co-operatively with staff who are supporting you;
  • to keep to agreed appointment times;
  • to provide accurate information;
  • to advise Pact of changed circumstances related to your support; and
  • to undertake to complete agreed tasks as planned, that you have discussed with your support worker.
