Tenant Participation Program supports tenants to participate in consultative forums on issues relating to their housing, and supports existing and emerging tenant groups in their development as representative bodies. This can include assistance to emerging tenant groups in the key areas of governance, operational capacity and incorporation. The program also encourages and facilitates participation in networks, including the Regional Tenant Council (RTC), the Victorian Public Tenants Association (VPTA), Office of Housing (OoH) forums, Housing Week and other community activities.
Community Facilities Management. Pact works with tenants across the region to facilitate tenant involvement in, and the management of, community facilities located on OoH property. Pact‘s role is chiefly as a facilitator to encourage access, promote safe and harmonious use of community facilities, and assist tenants to enhance the available amenities, services and activities.
